2004年、韓国のペン回しフォーラム"Pen Dol Sa"によるペン回しプロモーションビデオ"PDS 1st"が公開され、日本国内の動画紹介サイトで話題となる。
2005年5月、ps-728がPDS 1stに着想を得て、日本国内発祥のペン回しプロモーションビデオ制作を立案。
企画の賛同者が匿名掲示板「2ちゃんねる」で集められ、約3か月の制作期間を経て2ch Pen Spinning PVとして制作された。
このビデオを契機としてbonkura氏、okkar氏、Sunrise氏、337氏といったペンスピナー達が世に出ることとなり、以降の日本ペン回し界の躍進へと繋がっていく。

2005年は日本ペン回し界に発展の兆しが見え始めた年であった。
PSN 1stを契機として多くの日本人ペンスピナーが輩出すると共に、
ペン回しコラボレーションビデオ制作の手法が確立された。
現在もなお続編が制作される、日本人ペンスピナーによる動画シリーズ、JapEnが企画された年でもある。
2006年、PSN 2ndの制作にあたり、JapEnシリーズとの差別化が課題となった。
そこでPSNシリーズは海外のペンスピナーを積極的に招聘し、
ps-728によるジャグリングの技術を取り入れた新たなペン回しの開拓が進められ、プロモーション動画としての立ち位置をより強めていくこととなる。
本作には当時世界最高峰のペンスピナー、シンガポールのTohlz氏が参加し、世界各国に衝撃を与えた。
2005 was a special year in which the Japanese pen spinning developed significantly. In Japan, with PSN 1st as an opportunity, many pen spinners came out and the method of pen spinning video production was established.
It is the year when JapEn, video series by a Japanese pen spinner, whose sequel is still produced, was planned.
ps-728 planned PSN 2nd in 2006. How to differentiate PSN and JapEn was an important issue.
Therefore, PSN series actively invited non-Japanese spinners, and
ps-728 developed a pen spinning that incorporates juggling techniques.
Tohlz, one of the top spinner, participated in this video and surprised the world's spinners.

2006年5月に発表されたPSN 2ndは、Tohlz氏の参加、ペン回しとジャグリングの融合、高い編集技術と良質なBGM、そして参加スピナーの技術のレベルの高さにより、日本のみならず海外でも大きな話題となった。
その反響を受けて制作されたPSN 3rdは、動画編集者としてbonkura氏を、CGエディターとしてokkar氏やKUNEKUNE氏を起用し、過去作からスタッフの大幅な変更を行った。
海外からも、アメリカのkaisen氏、韓国の골드(Gold)氏、香港の2kin氏と、三か国から一名ずつを招聘した。これは当時としては最多クラスの参加国数であり、ペン回しという文化が国境を超えて発展する、新たな時代への流れを感じさせるものであった。
PSN 2nd was released in May 2006 and became a big topic not only in Japan but also in foreign countries due to Tohlz's participation, fusion of pen spinning and juggling, high quality editing and BGM, and skillful techniques of spinners.
PSN 3rd changed the staff and appointed bonkura as an editor and okkar and KUNEKUNE as digital artists. In addition, ps-728 invited kaisen from the United States, 골드 (Gold) from South Korea, and 2kin from Hong Kong.
This video symbolized the beginning of a new era in which pen spinning evolved across national borders.

2005年から2006年に世界各国でペン回しフォーラムが設立されたことを受け、2007年に初の世界大会、World Penspinning Tournamentが開催される等、ペン回し界は急速な発展を遂げていた。
その中で一年間の期間を経て制作されたPSN 4thは、골드(Gold)氏やbonkura氏といった過去作の出演者に加え、世界大会ファイナリストのBanz氏や、国内のベテランから新進気鋭の若手まで、多様なメンバーの招聘を行った。
完全招待制であった過去三作と異なり、出演者の公募を初めて行った作品でもある。
優れたペン回し技術と良質なBGMが高いレベルで融合した本作は、現在でも尚、2000年代を代表する一作としてしばしば名が挙げられる。
From 2005 to 2006, pen spinning forums were established around the world, and in 2007, the World Penspinning Tournament was held. In this way, pen spinning developed rapidly.
In such a situation, PSN 4th was produced after a period of one year.
ps-728 invited various members such as 골드(Gold) and bonkura who appeared in the past PSN series, and Banz who won the fourth place in the World Pen Spinning Tournament 2007.
Unlike the past three works, which were invitation only, ps-728 recruited spinners for the first time.
This video is a fusion of high-quality pen spinning techniques and music, and is still regarded as one of the representative works of the 2000s.

高い技術力と演出をもって00年代のペン回し界を牽引してきたPSNシリーズは、2007年に発表された"PSN 4th"をもって一旦休止。
その後、2010年に"PSN FINAL"が企画されるも、諸般の事情により制作は中止となった。
2021年にps-728はPSNの制作再開を決断。
同年8月22日、日本ペン回し連盟理事長・肄'teza氏をプロデューサー、
ペン回しパフォーマー・Kay氏をプロモーターとして、PSN制作委員会が発足された。
「失われた"PSN FINAL"の再誕」が目標として掲げられ、主に00年代に活躍した世界各国のペンスピナーが集結した。
"PSN 4th"発表直後に急逝した若き天才、bonkura氏が遺した未発表の動画が使用されたほか、
全国大会を制したMart氏、韓国大会優勝者の플러스펜T(PluspenT)氏、世界大会チャンピオンのs777氏らが参加した。
出演者陣の多くはペン回し活動の一線から退いているものの、その豪華さは正にドリームチームと呼ぶに相応しい。
The PSN series, which led the pen spinning world in the 2000s with its high pen spinning skills and visual tequnology, has stopped with the "PSN 4th" announced in 2007.
After that, "PSN FINAL" was planned in 2010, but the production was canceled due to various reasons.
In 2021, ps-728 decided to resume production of the PSN series.
On August 22, the PSN production committee was established.
Iteza (Chairman of the Japan Pen Spinning Federation) became the producer, and Kay (Pen Spinning Performer) became the promoter.
PSN 5th -The LEGACY- aimed for "The Rebirth of PSN FINAL",
and pen spinners who were active mainly in the 2000s gathered.
An unreleased combo left by bonkura, a young genius who died suddenly in 2007, was used.
In addition, 플러스펜T(PluspenT), the 2005 Korean champion,
Mart, the 2010 Japanese champion, and s777, the 2011 world champion, also participated.
Many of the spinners have retired from the front lines, but they deserve to be called a dream team.
